REVIEW RESPONSE
Your final paper is due at the Botany Office (220 Bartram) Friday, April 23, by 5PM:

This is your chance to improve your paper. No matter how many comments you got from the reviewer or the editor, everyone is capable of getting an A.

The main assignment is to work on the paper itself given the responses you have. In terms of what you need to turn in at the end:

1) The final revised paper

2) A written response to the comments by the reviewer. This can be short and to the point. The main purpose is to address the suggested changes by making the revisions in your paper. Then, ever so briefly, say you made changes in your written response . In any case where you don't want to make the suggested change, then write a short 2-3 sentence response to defend your position to the editor. Again, make this short. Your main work should be on the paper itself, with this 1-2 page response to comments as a guide for the editor to the changes you made. You don't need to adress all the comments written on the draft itself in your written response, but do incorporate those suggestions when you revise.

3) Also, please turn in all the materials that you received back with your review, so that we are able to grade the entire paper assignment.

Finally, if any of these instructions are not clear, please do not hesistate to email the professors.
